Federal Economic Development Agency for Northern Ontario
FedNor is the federal agency responsible for promoting economic development, diversification, and job creation across Northern Ontario. As a FedNor-funded Community Futures Development Corporation, the CDC operates under the national Community Futures program — making FedNor our primary federal partner and a foundational source of support for everything the CDC does.

AWIC is one of Ontario's 26 Local Workforce Planning Boards, providing labour market research, workforce planning, and coordination across the Algoma District to connect job seekers, employers, and training providers.
